Qiigo fielded a team at the Kaiser Permanente Corporate Run/Walk on September 11, 2014. Known as the “World’s Largest Office Party”, this race is the culmination of an 8 week training program designed to promote health, fitness and wellness. Several Atlanta-area charities benefited from the proceeds of the race including the
Atlanta Community Food Bank, Back on My Feet and
the Atlanta Braves Foundation.
Rick Batchelor, Qiigo CEO, received the award for Top CEO (companies with 29 and under full-time employees) with a finish time of 21:40. Qiigo Team Captain Christian Pillat, Product Manager, came in with a time of 20:17. Our other top finisher was Tom Zigtema, Account Manager, with a time of 27:01.
The Qiigo team is already looking forward to next year’s race. We anticipate participating in the 30+ full time employees category which means Rick is now gunning to beat Charlie Crawford, CEO Private Bank of Buckhead, to retain his Top CEO title! Just 48 seconds separated the two CEOs. It’s on!
