Qiigo recently returned from a successful trip to the 2013 IFA Public Affairs Conference in Washington D.C. Representing Qiigo at this influential industry event were CEO Rick Batchelor and Marketing Coordinator Christian Pillat.
The Public Affairs Conference is designed to provide franchisees, franchisors, and franchise related businesses with the opportunity to meet directly with members of Congress to share top business concerns. This year, top issues discussed with members of Congress included taxes, healthcare, work force policy, immigration, small business lending, and Veterans as small business owners.
“Franchise business owners create more jobs than any other businesses in America. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to advocate on behalf of franchisees and business owners to draw attention to important issues like healthcare and tax policy,” remarked Rick Batchelor, CEO of Qiigo.
During the two day conference, attendees also gained valuable insights from keynote speakers including Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), Jim VandeHei, Co-Founder and Executive Editor of POLITICO, and Scott Brown, former U.S. Senator (R-MA).
