Qiigo presented today at the Southeast Franchise Forum (SEFF) September breakfast meeting. Rick Batchelor, Qiigo CEO, and Ginny Hornby, Qiigo Director of Content Strategy, led an interactive social media presentation titled “Social Media: I Just Tweeted to Tell You I Blogged!”
The presentation was designed to provide insight on a variety of social media topics including:
- Key demographic usage
- Turning bad reviews into positive experiences
- Using LinkedIn for Franchise Development
- Social Media tools including Qiigo Reputation Management
- Off-line to online social media case study
Kat Cole, President of Cinnabon, was a featured speaker during the presentation. She shared thoughts regarding the importance of social media in creating online communities. She also shared how one tweet can impact a whole organization.
The Qiigo team also brought along a surprise visitor…Captain Local. Captain Local is Qiigo’s Local Listings Management mascot. The Captain Local launch was the topic of Qiigo’s offline to online social media case study. He was a big hit with SEFF members; receiving cheers and applause upon his entrance. You can expect to see Captain Local at many upcoming industry events.
We’d like to thank the Southeast Franchise Forum for their warm reception. To view a copy of Qiigo’s social media presentation, please visit the Southeast Franchise Forum website.
